Be Thankful For What You Have
Have you been feeling out of sorts lately? Something bothering you at work?Are your worries burdening you to breaking point? Struggle and suffering is all part and parcel of life. No one escapes fromit, but that doesn't mean you have to lose any sleep because of it.If you're feeling down or troubled, remember how lucky you are to be alive,to be able to listen to the radio, to be able to enjoy your meals, spendtime with your loved ones, and appreciate the beauty that this world has to offer. Because you have no idea how many people in this world don't.
Should you find it hard to get to sleep tonight, just remember the homelessfamily who has no bed to lie in.Should you find yourself stuck in traffic, don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
Should you have bad day at work, pray from the man who has been out of workfor years.Should you grieve for the passing of another weekend, pray for the women around the world who work twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed their children.
Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance, think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.
Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror, remember the cancer patient in chemotherapy who wishes she had hair to examine.
Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what life is all about,asking "What is my purpose?", be thankful. There are thse who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness,ignorance, smallness or insecurities, remember: things could be worse. You could be them!
